Students are working on a presentation style for the tools they work with in Photoshop with samples of their work as demonstrations.   A PowerPoint will be due by the end of class on Friday, Dec.9th.  The Assignment may be fairly large so it should be dropped into the dropbox.

Today students used the Shape tools to create perspective and add shading.  We worked on using brushes to add dimension.

Students worked on the Discussion Board post.  It is due at the end of the period.  Students are encouraged to use the textures they found this week around the school.

Students went and took photos to create textures. We also started the Thursday project (DB post is a 6 layered picture with different textures).

Students used selection tools in Photoshop to apply filters. We also looked at selecting the INVERSE when using the selection tool. We transitioned to creating filters in flash for text boxes. I presented the project for 11.4 on the discussion board.

17 points for a mask in Photoshop
19 points for a mask in Flash (using our template from Basketball yesterday)
21 points for a new mask idea in Flash
23 points for a mask idea in Illustrator
(that is right-- 2 points bonus for finding out how to create a mask in another adobe product!!).
When you finish with this project and it is submitted to the discussion board, you can work on your Halloween Costume for kitty, or another pet.
